Thermal conductivity and warmth capability of nanofluid primarily based on water modified by hybrid materials of composition detonation nanodiamonds-carbon nanotubes: Fullerenes, Nanotubes and Carbon Nanostructures: Vol 0, No 0

Summary

For the primary time, the rheological and thermophysical properties of steady nanofluids primarily based on water and ethylene glycol modified by the DND-CNT hybrid materials and obtained with out surfactants have been investigated. It was discovered that on the most focus of the DND-CNT hybrid materials 0.5 wt. % for water and 0.3 wt. % for ethylene glycol was elevated in thermal conductivity at 50°C to 84% and 44%, respectively, with out altering the dynamic viscosity. It’s proven that using a hybrid materials can scale back the freezing level by 11°C within the case of water and by 7°C within the case of ethylene glycol.
