I’ve a 1 TB drive on a late 2013 mbp.
This week it determined to cease booting – was simply hanging on the loading display screen.
I’ve booted of an SD card and I may see the drive and browse it as learn solely.
I regretfully deployed testDisk – meaning to look, however ended up saving the partition desk. I did not make any modifications deliberately to the disk format, however since then it’s tousled.
Seems testDisk would not recognise APFS Containers and it has written it again incorrectly.

Earlier than the partition knowledge was broken, it has a Container and two disks HD and HD - Information.
Is there something I can do to rebuild the partition desk again to a wholesome APFS Quantity state?
