My laptop not too long ago crashed. My native pleasant laptop place was in a position to get better the info, however not in a migration-ready kind I might use to arrange the alternative laptop I purchased. The man on the retailer stated I might simply arrange the brand new laptop as a brand new laptop after which drag and drop all the things from the laborious drive he gave me to the brand new laptop EXCEPT the Library, and that if I simply dragged and dropped the Library the brand new laptop would cease working. He stated as a substitute that I ought to undergo the Library on the laborious drive, work out what I wished/wanted, and replica that to the Library on the brand new laptop.
There are roughly 4 billion gajillion recordsdata within the Library on the laborious drive, and I do not know what most of them are. A have a look at this text means that the folders I want to repeat are:
Software Assist
Containers
Group Containers
Calendars
Fonts
HomeKit
Music
Keychains
Desire Panes
Safari
If I copy these folders and solely these folders from the Library on the laborious drive of information from the outdated laptop into the Library of the brand new laptop, is there something I am risking dropping?
If something within the query is not clear, please let me know and I will edit.
