javascript – Safari on the iPadOS is driving me loopy

[ad_1]

I’ve written a easy JavaScript code.

All it does, apply a category of ‘conceal’ to the aspect to cover it (setting opacity to 0), and take away the category to disclose it (setting the opacity again to 1).

transition set on the aspect itself through css, length set to 0.5s.

the code works completely nicely, on all browsers on MacOS, all browsers on iOS (on my iPhone – together with Safari), EXCEPT the Safari on the iPad!

I can see the category being utilized and eliminated in devtools. the aspect is disappearing and reappearing; simply with none transitions.

what makes this even weirder, is that Firefox, Edge, and Chrome carry out completely nicely with the transitions and the code total on the exact same iPad!

the iPad mannequin I am testing on is: iPad Professional 12.9″ with M1;

anybody accustomed to such situation?!

Thanks in your time.
