Context: We’re an app growth company that has not too long ago enrolled within the (paid) Apple Developer Program as a corporation.
Downside: We might prefer to each
- a.) simply share WIP iOS tasks with different group members in order that they will take a look at the software program out of their very own iPhones or iPads
- b.) simply share WIP iOS tasks with shoppers to allow them to give suggestions on subsequent steps.
Our present course of is that we get the gadget UDIDs for each work gadget of each developer on our group and in addition for our shoppers. As soon as now we have these UDIDs, we create a model new provisioning profile after which compile (or “archive” in Xcode terminology) the WIP app utilizing this profile.
However this has downsides:
- code that we have already compiled should be recompiled when the consumer sends us a brand new gadget (e.g. including the iPhone UDID of a brand new venture supervisor on their group)
- regardless of each developer on our personal group being related to our group as a developer-class consumer in App Retailer Join > Customers, I do not know of any option to compile (/
“archive”) an IPA such that anybody on my group can run it on their telephone.
Does anybody have any concepts on the way to clear up this pair of issues? Any pointers are extremely appreciated.
