ios – ARKit ARSCNView: use of ultra-wide digital camera or zoom?

[ad_1]

I’ve an ARKit ARSCNView offering an AR expertise with the default rear-facing digital camera. I wish to use different cameras just like the ultra-wide digital camera for that. If attainable, it could be nice to offer fluent zoom. Is it attainable?

I did some analysis and came upon one must loop over supported video codecs of the AR configuration (e.g. ARWorldTrackingConfiguration.supportedVideoFormats). This provides an array of some video codecs with totally different fps values, ratios, … However, there’s at all times the AVCaptureDeviceTypeBuiltInWideAngleCamera. Extremely-wide or Tele doesn’t appear to be included. How can we get the AR expertise with an different digital camera than the default (broad) one?

Thanks upfront.
