Summary
Cerium oxide/graphene oxide (CeO2/GO) nanocomposite has been ready by solvothermal methodology in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and used as a superb catalyst for Ciprofloxacin (CIP) degradation in water below ultrasound. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission and X-ray photoelectron spectrum (XPS) knowledge confirmed that the CeO2 nanoparticles have been efficiently adorned on the floor of GO sheets. The degradation of CIP inside 30 min illustrated that the as-synthesized nanocomposite was a steady, recyclable, and economical materials for the degradation of antibiotic residues in surroundings.
