Summary
On this paper, by a hydrothermal methodology and utilizing sucrose and silver nitrate, carbon nanospheres and excessive purity Ag@C core-shell nanostructures have been ready. The samples have been characterised by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDX and FTIR spectroscopy. The common diameter of the carbon spheres, Ag@C core-shells and their core have been measured 250, 350 and 55 nm, respectively. Lastly, the adsorption capability and photocatalytic efficiency of the Ag@C core-shells have been investigated by decomposition of methylene blue dye. The outcomes revealed that the Ag@C core-shell present a comparatively good photocatalytic efficiency.
