All through 2021, we’ve seen the parents at Anker refresh a lot of its charging lineup with every little thing from new compact USB-C wall adapters to GaN choices and extra. However all of that pales compared to the model’s newest launch. Enter the brand new Anker PowerPort III 120W USB-C Charging Station, which might refuel your total Apple package.
Anker launches PowerPort III 120W USB-C Charging Station
Getting into as Anker’s strongest charger but, this providing definitely earns that title with the power to dish out 120W of energy. Unfold throughout 4 completely different USB-C ports, the primary slot can dish out 100W of energy whereas the opposite ports drop-down in output from there. Alongside a pair of 20W ports, there’s additionally a 60W providing to spherical out the package deal. That is additionally one of many model’s first choices with greater than a pair of USB-C ports.
Ditching the extra compact wall adapter form-factors we’ve seen prior to now, Anker goes all-in on the charging station form-factor that its identify suggests. The boxy charger sports activities a virtually five-foot lengthy energy wire that plugs into the wall, supplying you with some slack for positioning all 120W of energy output on the desk or actually wherever else for that matter.
Having 120W of energy multi function gadget permits this single charger to function fairly an efficient all-in-one energy station for Apple customers. Even when profiting from all 4 ports without delay, this could nonetheless have the ability to refuel a MacBook, iPad, iPhone, and extra with out breaking a sweat.
Anker has additionally inbuilt among the newer security options we’ve seen from different chargers in its lineup like temperature management, present regulation, and short-circuit safety add some additional peace of thoughts.

9to5Toys’ Take:
As Anker has been pushing the restrict of what we are able to count on from dimension and effectivity of its chargers, this new launch definitely stands out with a formidable function set. In the event you’ve been searching for one charger to deal with your total Apple package, it looks like that is the reply.
The one factor that I don’t love in regards to the new Anker 120W PowerPort III Charging Station is that it isn’t so simple as plugging in your MacBook and calling it a day. Having to trace which slot is the principle output and that are the secondary ones is a bit cumbersome. However I suppose with this a lot energy in a compact form-factor, having this be the one actual compromise is much from a deal-breaker.
