A Enjoyable and Academic Use of Chrome’s Examine Instrument

On this week’s Sensible Ed Tech E-newsletter I shared a few of my favourite “techy” tips to impress your college students and colleagues. A kind of tips is to make use of the examine device in Chrome to view the code behind any webpage after which modify it to alter what seems on the web page in your pc.

The examine device in Chrome allows you to see the code behind any internet web page and alter that code to show something that you really want rather than the unique textual content and pictures. Watch this brief video to see the way it works.

Purposes for Schooling

Chrome’s examine device offers a great way for college students to see how the code of a webpage works. I typically had my ninth grade coding college students do this final 12 months.

You can too use the examine device to change an article on the net to make it a satire story. Then print the web page and provides it to your college students to attempt to establish the satire parts of the story.
