Personally, I’m amazed at how far MassRobotics has come for the reason that concept of the group was conceived by Daniel Theobald, Fady Saad, Joyce Sidopoulos, Tye Brady and Steve Paschall. Once I was requested to steer the group —and the compelling alternative to assist develop the robotics group — I couldn’t say no.
Have been there early struggles and questions? After all. We needed to have interaction with academia, politicians and companies. And we wanted to boost cash to execute our idea for a world hub for robotics. Fortuitously, visionary organizations Harmonic Drive, Vecna Robotics, Amazon Robotics, iRobot, Arrow, Autodesk, CIC, Dassault Solidworks, MassTLC, BRC and IDA Eire joined us as founding companions, and a beneficiant donation from the Deshpande Basis helped launch MassRobotics. The remaining, as they are saying, is historical past.
