Open information from my android machine with out copying to my mac utilizing android file switch

I am a brand new mac person, and I’ve an android telephone. I take advantage of my telephone as a usb drive quite a lot of the time. I merely join it to my home windows laptop and begin copying information to and from it. Apparently this is not doable natively on mac (right me if I am mistaken, I am a whole newbie).

So I needed to obtain android file switch. My downside with it’s that I would like to repeat the file to my mac earlier than I can open it. Why would they do that? Would not it have been straightforward for them to repeat the file to /tmp after I double click on on it, after which delete it in a while? Anyway, is there a special app that may obtain my aim? Or possibly a local means that I do not learn about? I’ve an ARM mac if this makes any distinction.
