Raman spectroscopy of nickel molybdate and its modifications: Fullerenes, Nanotubes and Carbon Nanostructures: Vol 29, No 12

Summary

Whereas utilizing hydrothermal methodology we obtained nanocrystal nickel molybdate hydrate (NiMoO4). Its additional calcination at 400 °C enabled us to acquire α-phase of NiMoO4 hydrate. The modification of bodily and chemical properties of ready NiMoO4 hydrate was being achieved with assistance from highly effective laser radiation with the additional composite formation on its foundation. Now we have established the interconnection of vibrational modes of triclinic and monoclinic buildings of nickel molybdates with corresponding bands in Raman spectra. We established that registered intensive bands with most 947, 870, 828, and 354 cm−1 correspond to vibrational modes of МоО4 tetrahedrons of NiMoO4 hydrates, whereas intensive bands with most 960, 912, and 706 cm−1 in α-NiMoO4 correspond to stretching vibrational modes in Мo–О and О–Мo–О, bending modes О–Мo–О connections in MoO6 octahedron.
