View What’s Behind a Web site With Mouse X-Ray Goggles

Mozilla used to supply an ideal little instrument referred to as X-Ray Goggles that allow you to view and modify the code behind any webpage. Sadly, they shut it down a few years in the past and since then I have been recommending that folks merely use Chrome’s examine instrument to view the code behind a webpage. The truth is, I even included that in my weekly e-newsletter this week. This week I found that Mouse.org gives its personal X-Ray Goggles instrument for viewing and modifying the code behind a web page.

Mouse.org’s X-Ray Goggles instrument enables you to see the code behind any net web page and alter that code to show something that you really want instead of the unique textual content and pictures. After you have got made the adjustments you possibly can publish an area copy of the net web page. In this brief video I present an illustration of how Mouse.org’s X-Ray Goggles instrument works.

Purposes for Schooling

Mouse.org’s X-Ray Goggles offers a great way for college kids to see how the code of a webpage works.

As I discussed within the video, you could possibly use X-Ray Goggles to change an article on the internet to make it a satire story. Then print the web page and provides it to your college students to attempt to determine the satire parts of the story.
